Terry Herbert and Bill Abbott appear to use the same monkey. Where can you find the hats for the puppet?
I know the puppet is at Folkmanis, and on sale, I might add. Any one know? Thanks, Mike |

I made a fez in a few hours at home with materials readily available around the house (we have a pretty well-stocked craft cabinet with young kids in the house). I actually think it turned out better than the ones I could buy on-line. I may be a little biased though, as I just spent two hours tinkering, cutting, gluing, tassel making, etc. But it was fun, and nobody has a fez like it. Well, until I mention how easy it was.
Step 1 - sneak into kitchen and steal red kids plastic cup (IKEA stacking kids cup). Sneak, I say, because a hacksaw comes next. Step 2 - estimate height required for fez - hacksaw off the rest Step 3 - drill hole in top for tassel and on sides for elastic chin strap Step 4 - glue on some FIRM red felt onto sides of cup, then a circle on top; trim nice and neat Step 5 - affix some gold trim to fez; he is a successful mindreader, after all - he needs some bling Step 6 - tie on an elastic chin strap Step 7 - make a tassel - feed string through hole in top of fez and put a button inside (in case you need to change or shorten the tassel string) Let me know what you think of the finished product. http://www.barbour.ca/monkeyfez3.jpg Regards, Andrew |

http://www.williamsmagic.com has the items you've mentioned.
Not sure if they are on the site, but the store has them. A phone call. I think they have FREE shipping. Nez
