Anything done with things that the executive/spectator is familiar with will work well: business cards, contract forms, pens, pencils, computer discs, etc.
Given a choice, I would probably do Out to Lunch, with the appropiate theme and art work. (The original is available at any magic shop -- and inexpensive.) |

The blank to printed buisness card is found on the Hampton magic video: Amazing tricks with Everyday Objects.
There is a good paperclip trick and if I remember, a torn and restored napkin, and a mental effect in that you can pick a matchbook out of a group that has had a match removed by a spectator. Less than $10 in the end of the adult beginner section at magicwarehouse.com The flash wallet is very good too but your specs will then expect some pretty fancy stuff after that.
...think not that all wisdom is in your school. You may have studied other paths, but, it is important to remember that no matter who you are or where you come from, there is always more to learn.

Hi,
maybe you should check out Jay Sankey's "Fine Print". It's a very easy trick to perform, however, it's kinda funny. |

As a business coach by profession, I would strongly discourage the use of any gaff or packet tricks. If you are discovered using, say a Raven, the image you convey might be that of a huckster or cheat! Think very carefully about this.
Rely on tricks (I use the word "effects") that are clean and based on sleights rather than gaffs. This conveys that you are competent and don't take short-cuts. If this sounds like I'm going a little overboard, I'm not. In business, image is everything! One I like very much and just started to learn myself is Sankey's version of coins across on Sankey-tized 2. It's clean, not too hard to learn, and uses coins - everyone has coins! Good luck!

I have got a cool three card prediction on my Ipaq. You give your PDA to a spectator and they select a card. Without touching, seeing, hearing or infra-red beaming you can tell them the card they selected. You can even beam the software to your friends pda and perform it on their machine, so they are more amazed. This can be done 20-30 feet away. You can download a free demo here. (It can also be done on Palm)
