I am not much of a big illusion guy but I have always wanted to do a flash apperance in a stage situation. Would like to do a frame and screen that can at first be shown all around and then do the apperance. Any suggestions?

Jim Gerrish's Utility Cabinet from his Book 1 "PVC Pipes and Dollar Store Illusions for the REALLY, REALLY Cheap Illusionist!" which can be found on my site. The same book also has a PVC pipe appearing arch, but the Utility Cabinet is more in keeping with the presentation you are suggesting. It'll cost about $10 at Home Depot to build it (the hand-held version) and try it to see if you like it. Also, the door illusion can be found in Mark Wilson's Cyclopedia. It's harder to build and transport (and more expensive to build), but also can use that same presentation.
