Thanks John.
Glad to hear you liked the IMD (Invisible Magic Dust). I can't recall if I sent anything else as well (maybe a business card?). I helped to tweak the Invisible Magic Dust product that my friend Dean Hankey sells the licenses to (I was one of the ghost writers). I've made a lot of money from giving that little gift away to my customers. - Donald

It's very interesting to see Tommy John's wonderful review of Julian's program. Especially when you go to http://julianfranklin.com/faculty.htm and see that Tommy is on Julian's staff.
This is not to criticize Julian's program - I really know nothing about it. Just a reminder that all reviews and recommendations are not necessarily unbiased. John Cesta's review does seem to be an honest and forthright one though. Certainly Julian's program would be worth investigating. I have purchased Julian's booklet on becoming an author and adding that little credential to your advertising to increase your credibility. It is certainly "one word" that won't hurt your bookings. An excellant booklet.

Donald: I should clarify something in my last post on this thread. I am a friend of Dean Hankey's, but do not recieve any royalties when he sells his Invisible Magic Dust product. I'm just an enthusiastic fan of that item. Just wanted to make it clear that my endorsement was a non-affiliate one. (Not that affiliate endorsements are wrong). - Donald

Dennis,
When you visit my web site (http://JulianFranklin.com) I have a page for my "faculty". These are the people who help me in running my business. They include my spouse, my in-laws, and currently some of the past attendees at my Business Building Workshop. No one has recieved any money from me at all. They are definatly not "staff" in the traditional sense of the word. My business has grown to the point where I have had to turn away quite a few shows last year and I asked the attendees at my workshop if they would be willing to come in a work a week or two of shows if I covered their expenses and paid them for each show (with me taking some of course). Tommy was one who was willing to do that. I am currently training a few other people who are more like a real "staff" to handle the overflow. Tommy has recieved no money from me, nor does he have any financial incentive to say good things about me or my offerings. --Julian Franklin |

Hi Julian,
I do not work for your nor have I ever met you. I found you because of this thread and ordered you viral marketing course. It is great! I am on the last CD and I will have to start again because there is so much information. You did a wonderful job of starting each CD with study results some researcher has come up with to prove your case. I really like the one where you explain that the three phases of an experience are multiplied together and not added. This means that on a 1-10 scale, improving any one phase has a geometric effect on the total experience. It also means that if you are a zero at any of the phases, it does not matter how good the other phases are, the total experience is zero. I know this makes little sence to anyone who has not listened to the course. Guess that means that you need to give Julian a call. |

I have contracted a viral course before. I don't want to do it again.

I am receiving more praise then I ever have and, more importantly, the praise and responses that I am looking for. If you take a look at my web site: johncesta.com you will see some great testimonials from librarians from my summer library shows. This WILL be my year! What I am most happy with is how word has spread about my programs, professionalism, reliability and the educational value of my programs. Before attending Julian's workshop I had two programs. I have 5 now including a Middle School program. These aren't programs that Julian provided these are programs that I was motivated and inspired to develop after watching Julian in action. I can't offer any information about my bottom line as the IRS may be monitoring this forum. Suffice it to say the bottom line increases as you rise to the top! I can't recommend Julian's workshop enough. John Cesta |

Thanks for the update John.
Last week I signed up for this workshop, and am looking forward to being in Houston in January (nice change from cold northern Alberta). I haven't done a school show yet, and only limited library ones. Most of my business has focused on daycares, birthdays, restaurants, summer festivals, etc. It's now time to go the next step and start focusing on school shows. Anyone else on this forum going the Business Building Workshop? Brian |

I have now taken the next step and actually hired someone to work for me. Most of the people who attended the workshop last year are too busy to fly in and work for me so I hired a "real" staff member and added her to the list of faculty (http://JulianFranklin.com/faculty.htm). If you are intersted in learning the program, most of the slots are gone for the full workshop (which includes a complete show that John Cesta says is worth more than the entire cost of the program). However, if you feel you have a worthwhile program that you simply can't seem to sell at the levelt that would provide you with the income you feel you deserve, you might want to check out http://KidShowBusiness.com
