For the record, Erick contacted me and explained his bend. I suggested he look up Mind Mysteries and decide for himself whether he felt it was original enough or not. He made the decision on his own and I compliment him on his honesty and integrity.
Often, we come up with something that has been before and it is a bit heartbreaking to find out it may not be entirely original. I have no doubt that Ericks new effect will be killer! Richard |

Erick I compliment you on your stance. In a magic society were it seems people will sell out and take others effects it is nice to see somebody actually trying to help other people instead of rip them off.

I buy forks in bulk from our uk store Wilkinsons , I started off with PK Silverware but now I do the liquid metal routine , I do this every single night at home just to keep that finger strength up , there is something I like to do tho , after practicing my routine and the fork is all twisted and bent I get out the pliers and bend the fork back to its original state (or as near as I can) and then do the routine again , the fork is a little harder to do this time but still do able, I find its a good way for finger strength building.

Hello cardsharpist,
I'm not going to be releasing "Touching Bend", but I'll be releasing my other bending effect instead. The other effect of mine is what I like to call "Gallerian Bend", I think everyone will like-it. This is in the process of being prep right now, but I'll keep everyone posted about-it. Thanks, -Erick

Cardsharpist,
Thanks for your interest, Gallerian is very different in both method and in the way it's seen. Here's a demo for Gallerian on Vinny Marini's website: http://www.vinnymarini.com This should be available very soon, thanks again. -Erick

Hello everyone ! first of all let me just say that the gallerian bend really looks great. I am new to metal bending. I started working on the material on the PK silverware DVD two days ago.
what I wanted to ask is , what tips could you guys give me on the thumb bend? I am really having trouble with it. I don't know if it is a strengh issue or maybe a grip issue. I would really appreciate any tips you could give me regarding this because it is really giving me a hard time at the moment. thanks -Matt

Hello djwow,
Thank you kindly for your interest, I decided to go about creating a whole new effect and using the origianl name "Touching Bend". This is really a entirely different spoon bend then before, there is a (gimmick) involved but the reset is instant and the gimmick is very easy to construct. Here's a thread already open for Touching Bend: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=82 Regards, -Erick
