Are they selling mini bubbles with figures inside?
It's ABC last I heard. May 8th. Hope we get to see some magic during the buildup to the escape at the end.

Good idea Jonathan, How about snowstorms? Someone with a suitcase full of them would do pretty well in NY right now...

Got me thinking about something using a small bubble with a figure inside and covering with a hank and making the figure vanish. But that would be both a fuss to get done quickly and also "borrowing" from the work of another. Still, like vanishing an elephant using a small plastic elephant and playing cards... a good magic trick in the making.

Jonathan Townsend, your 12,600 posts are more impressive than DB standing on a telephone pole for five years, or whatever it was. Talk about endurance feats!

Brilliant point Daegs...It's like a hot water heater...Why heat water that is hot? Or "Man dies of unexpected heart attack"... OF COURSE IT WAS UNEXPECTED! "Oh...I have time for another couple of holes of golf, my heart attack won't be coming until around three thirty."
Sheesh... Gwyd |

Didn't Travolta do this bit, without the water, in one of his movies, years ago?
Just kidding, this is a very dangerous stunt - think hypothermia... Lee Darrow, C.H.

I think you still need to respect people, so many people where interested in magic today, it was free publicity! I wish he would have made it so magicians wouldn't be able to make fun of him.

I believe it was said in another forum, but if Criss would of broken the record, it would of been more trouble then its worth. Everyone (almost) would think it was some kind of illusion and not an auctual breath hold. And yes, it was a lot of free* publicity.
*I'm sure he got paid well for it.
