Must be Onion. Think Bill, Merlin and The Lady of Shalott - she must have known her onions.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Which is more important, a milk man or a professional magician? The answer: Depends on which one you are. Onion or Radish? Depends on who’s doing the tasting.

Since there are no milkmen any more, at least in the US, that kind of settles the milkman/magician thing, doesn't it?
OTOH, the garbage man and the magician -- the garbage man wins out every time. If you don't pay your magician, he won't do another show for you. If you don't pay your garbage man, he won't leave any more garbage.

C’mon Bill, you just ain’t wanting to give us that prize for the correct answer. A two answer question and we still can’t get it right. I’m beginning to think it was a trick question.

Tom...I already gave the correct answer...Bill P. chose to ignore its brilliance because it came to soon...
"Magic is a medly of radish and onion. A tossed salad of basic ingredients where only the dressing alters the resulting flavors." This only points to the theory that B. Palmer is a Noodle, preferring his authored threads to be at least 2 pages.

Doug,
You did have a good answer, should’ve been worth a sack of onions or something. But surely he didn’t keep making us do all this hard thinking for nothing. :) Tom

The only way I can answer this is by comparison.
Magic has never left a bad taste in my mouth or made me burp. Magic has made me cry and can spice up anything. So I go with onion.

Now why does this thread get me thinking of doing the cups and balls?
Using nutmegs, radishes then Onions for the final loads? BTW, none of them make great icecream flavors.

There's a restaurant here in Las Vegas that sells garlic ice cream. It's one of their best sellers.

Ohhhh, magician you're a funny 'un, you got a face like a pickled onion, a nose like a squashed tomato, and two legs like pegs.
