Many of us attend lectures and conferences. I have helped organize some of them. What good ideas do you want continued or enhanced at conferences and what ideas do you hate and want stopped. One thing I hate is to go to a lecture and then see them five years later still giving the same lecture or see a lecture devoted entirely to all the tricks the dealer has to sell.

I thought Duane Laflin's lecture on presentation was worth twice the price and many more people should have been there.
In fact, all of his lectures at the FCM Michigan were well worth the price of admission. |

I do agree with Rick in that a lecture that is only for the purposes of selling stuff is not what I am interested in. There are currently lots of places to see things to buy. Lectures that contain practical in the treches kind of information is worth listening to even twice
