The media is always saying how much money the music industry generates in this country, or it will report the annual box office receipts for movies, or the media will report that the buying and selling of fine art generates such and such billions of dollars annually, but what about magic?

Is there any way to calculate how much money magic shows and selling magic effects contribute to the U.S. economy? Or is magic too unregulated for something along these lines?
