Does anyone have any information about the cheapest way to ship an illusion. 3 boxes all way together about 1,300 lbs.

Bairefoot,

Try forwardair.com. I think that they are very inexpensive. Just a thought.

Here is the link. Hope it helps.

Be aware if you don't have an account, you will need to go to their depot, have the item weighed, get the price and then go get a money order!! They DON'T accept cash, checks, or CC's.
Just a heads up!!

They do accept business checks. I just shipped an illusion with them.

If you don't have an account, a money order and a business check, per Michael Messing are the only forms I know of. You can't establish an account unless you have proof of cash assets of $10K or more, and they check for this proof each year!!

Dhl Is a great fast, easy way to ship,, usually they are best priced compared to others such as Fedex, UPS, Post office.. IF your package is to large for DHL, they will ship it with another company for you...

Plus, if you have an account with them, you can apply for bulk shipping discounts.. I recieve over 30% off with them when I ship.....

Just my thought for the day...

Forward Air is good - the only problem is gas prices IF you are not near a hub ! but then again, gas prices are changing the entire shipping industry.
Check out http://www.freightquote.com - its like expedia for shipping ! Gives you a number of carriers to choose from. I have used them a number of times for one off shipments for corporate shows. Never hurts to have too much info !

No Problem Lou - any luck with the pole ?
Freightquote.com is a good source to price shipping out as well for when the client will cover expenses - which should be always ! Smile
A bit of advice though, please remember to rate your shipment accordingly ! if it is rated too low, it will not get packed correctly on the truck when it goes LTL. I.E it might get items pack on top of it etc. If it is rated too high, then the price will reflect it.
Unfortunately there is not a class for magic equipment or magic illusions - I usually go off of trade show displays.
Hope this helps.

Thanks fellows. From Greer SC to Buffalo New York. 4 cases about 1300 pounds will cost about $740 dollars. Thanks again.
