Hi Everybody. Thanks Moderator for being patient and explain to me how to make this

thing (computer!) working.



I'm Stefano Mambretti, from Italy (Milano), 36, feeling very young when doing magic, very old when in front of a computer.



Magic has captured me when I was a child and was looking at Silvan in his card manipulation. I imagined a lot of strings in his jacket to hide and carry out all these cards...from the sleeve!!! Where else?



After some years I found magic books in a bookshop. First performance for my friends...quite deluding! I still had to learn the importance of presentation (and I feel I did not yet learn very well...!).



Then some close-up magic, then a break when I took my degree and started my job, then back again. As amateur, not pretending to be so good.



Why close-up? Well... it was easier for me to find places where to perform. But there is also a more "philosophical" reason (forgive the too pretending word): I feel after Star Wars people (spectators) are not too much surprised when something "strange" happens on the stage. They might not know how the trick is done....but....OK....it is a trick!!!



That's why (in my opinion) stage magic can be a great form of art (we have the "more artistic" Brachetti, or the "more magical" Colombini)...but it is very difficult to turn it in "real magic".



In close up it is different. Take a card (QH), let the spectator hold it in his hand...and suddently the card change (3C).

WOW!!! Magic in MY hands!!! That's MAGIC!!!
