Joshua Jay has an estimation on one of his dvds where he says that less than 50 people of the world are able to do this. I don't doubt it, since this is really crazy but I just would like to know you can do it or do you know much or any people who are able to do this?
On mvd is a one handed (nearly, 2 cards are wrong) perfect one handed TABLE faro. D#mn, this is all sick that's why I LOVE CARD MAGIC Jah btw: anyone knows a source where the one handed table faro is taught? before I saw the video clip I didn't even know that such a thing exists...

Ian Kendall used to have a very clear tutorial on his web site, but it appears to have been taken off. Perhaps someone has a copy.

The mvd video or the source where to learn the table faro with one hand? and yes both sounds extremely hard, one handed perfect faro in hand and on table.
the method for the tabled one by the way looks really strange and somehow kool.

I would say about 5 out of six are perfect faros, the hardest part is getting the split at 26 and the packets to weave without two cards on the top and two on the bottom. I only use it for the Darwin Ortiz one handed poker routine. |

I would really appreciate it.

The most important aspect to execute the shuffle in my movie is to have both packets perfectly squared before you "press/weave" the halves together. Next step is to press the packets from bottom to top from the sides.
It also helps to lift the front of the cards at the same time as the weave starts with your forefinger. If you have a quality close up pad makes it easier to grip the halves. If you have a very "tiny" concave bend in the whole deck makes the weave easier. If you can do a normal perfect faro with the deck then the deck is in the correct "status" for a tabled faro shuffle with one hand. PM me if yo need more advices.... The biggest problem with this shuffle is the top cards, because they will very easy "slide" when you start the weave, yo can add some saliva betwen the top cards before you do the shuffle to make them stay squared. Sorry but this shuffle has no official source. But I know some wellknown and unknown card experts that do this shuffle even better than me Some even use it in gambling settings, which can be a big advantage if you want to stack or do some shuffle tracking. Yo can do this shuffle in secret at the card table if you put the other hand in front of the shuffling hand, but that is cheating and its almost a criminal act that can take yo to prison... don't forget to practise, I did: 2000 hours, heheh! I have done it before. Usually with good cards I can get a perfect weave in the middle of the deck. I personally think a table faro is the same if not more impressive than one handed. I dunno.

Hello Ian. I havn't find the tutorial for the one handed table faro on this side. Can you tell me on what I have to click? Your tutorial seems to be only for one handed in the hands, which is quite popular. I am very interested in the tabled one handed you showed in the video clip.
Thank you very much for the help!

Where I am I cannot view any videos at the moment. I get the one handed part of the shuffle, it is the table that confuses me. I know what a one handed shuffle is, I can do it pretty easily. But what the hell is a one handed table faro shuffle?

Ian, your one handed in hand faro instructional is the greatest, and in fact where I learned mine. However, it's just begging for an instructional for the one handed in hand bridge close for the one handed in hand faro. If you don't make one, I may have to.

Hi all,
I don't have the tabled faro lesson on the web page - if I get round to taping one I imagine it will be part of the virtual session. I'm pretty sure I did something on the various finishes for B*stard Hard Moves, which is in the session. If not, I imagine that will be there soon enough as well... I'm glad people are finding the free tutorials useful. Take care, Ian BTW, Mats does a great tabled one hand faro. You should talk to him |
