Are these the same as Expert Coin Magic Made Easy? I heard they were the same, just with a few volumes on each DVD. Is this true, or are they totally new material?

Which 2 volumes? I was under the impression that the DVDs DIDN'T contain video volumes 1,2 & 3.

They don't contain Vol.'s 1,2 and 3. This is what they contain: ECM = Expert Coin Magic

DVD Vol. 1: ECM Vol. 9 and Vol. 10
DVD Vol. 2: ECM Vol. 18 and Vol. 11
DVD Vol. 3: Classic Showpieces and Live in Sacramento 1998 lecture.
DVD Vol. 4: ECM Vol. 19 and Vol. 20.

I thought so.

Is he going to release ECM Vols. 1, 2 and 3 on DVD? Just wondering...

David has nothing to do with the release of the DVDs. A-1 Multimedia owned the rights to the tapes. A-1 sold the rights to the volumes that are now on DVD to L&L Publishing who then released the DVDs. L&L did not aquire the rights to Vols. 1,2,3 so they obviously can't release them on DVD. Who knows what will happen in the future.

Does anybody have any idea about the missing volumes(4, 5, 6...)?

Jason,

There are no missing volumes. The Roth videos are part of the Magic Made Easy series which contains several videos from other magicians (Daryl has a 3-volume rope series in the set.) Roth has (I hope this is correct) volumes 1, 2, 3, 9, 10, 11, 18, 19, and 20.

jimesw,

Volume 1 is not on the DVD set (nor is Vol. 2 or 3 for that matter) so that review does no good for the DVD set.

The DVD set is ECM Vol. 9, 10, 11, 18, 19, 20, Classic Showpieces, and Live in Sacramento videos.
