Yes...and so does about 2000 other magicians that use this exact same song.

My advice...run far far away.

It is from Nouvelle Experience (Cirque du Soliel) if your are referring to the manipulation/silk/fire part.

I agree,,,stay away unless you have permission to use it. Or get someone to make you some music that is similar (a couple of us can do this --me, musicman and others--)

Ah. I wasn't sure whether or not it was on general release. I have only ever heard it on the video I posted and I remember Russ Stevens using it years ago for his Revolution illusion.

Thanks guys!

For years, every other competition act at conventions used this.

I was downloading music from iTunes and I came across a Children's Series of CDs from Disney called "Baby Einstein" Children's versions of Baby Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Bach.

I was specifically looking for Instrumental pieces from Die Zauberfloete. I found it.

I think this music would be perfect for Children's Shows. Each track is approx. 2 - 3 minutes long.

Now there is the copyright hurdle to think about - But I really like this music. I downloaded Beethoven and Mozart and will probably get Bach and Vivaldi. The entire albums are only $6.99

Thanks for all your info guys and gals.

MysticalMike: I checked out Arthur's site. You're right they are great.
MrBill: I can't get access to the link you provided. Not enough posts I assume but will check it out when I can.
Foxbiz: Will try and check out some of his music.

There's a company over here which I stumbled across last year for special fx for theatre etc. Top notch material. http://www.redmp.com

Thanks again

Using this same thread, does anyone know the artist and song title of the dance song played at NBA arenas across the USA that starts:

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS........?

I have googled and googled and found nothing.

Thanks in advance.

I think you are refereing "Get Ready for This" by 2unlimited. The track that I'm thinking of is mainly instrumental other than the stops in the music that says "are yall ready for this".

The Baby Einstein stuff is pretty cool. They are videos of simple toys while the music plays. To the adult, they seem somewhat strange, but to very young children they are mezmerizing.

Unfortunately, they are owned by Disney and Disney is not the easiest company in the world to work with when copyrights are involved.

Basically, what the Baby Einstein music is is simpler classical music played on synthesizers. If you know someone who is pretty good and MIDI stuff, you could download some public domain MIDI files and play with the instrument sounds to make something very similar.

Thanks,
Richard

The instrumental "Get Ready for This" is labelled as the "orchestral mix"

The other version is simply called "vocal version" and contains rapping and female vocals.

From their "Get Ready" album 1992. Also availalbe on "Hits Unlimited" their greates his album.

You can obtain other remixes as well.
