I have a few coins across into the spectators hands, but most of them involve dropping a coin from CP, which apart from not being totally convincing, is only really coins from one hand to your other, and then very quickly into the specs.
What other ways are there of 'delivering' the coin? I thoguh you could do something about not having a very good aim when throwing invisible coins: 1st coin loaded into their pocket, second on their shoulder, third under their watch. Any other idea? |

There are other methods, some in print from as long ago as Ponsin's book.

Adding to Jaz' suggestion of the HPC, and Gallo Pitch, you can secretly add a coin to others as you place the coins in their hand, you can also Muscle Pass a coin from the side of their hand, into their hand.
Examples of a HPC into the hand as well as many varied ways of "sneaking" an extra coin in among others is taught on the NYC Coin Magic Seminar DVD. An example of a muscle pass to a spectator's hand can be found in Jason Wethington's TIED DVD. Method wise, coins cannot magically "appear" in a spectator's hand. You need to drop it, or sneak it in at one point. So ALL coins to spectator's hands are coins across to your hands first... |

In Mike Powers new book he has a great way of making a coin vanish from a spectators closed hand into either your hand or another spectators. Not exactly what you asked for but it looks amazing and really freaks people out.
Hope this helps Craig |

Also sponge ball style loads, add an extra coin to the ones that are already there. Also body loads, ok so from classic palm, but your hand isn't there for the revelation.

Check out Derek Dingle's routine on his videos, or "The Complete Works". He stole the coin directly into Morritt Grip (look that one up, Bobophiles) and emphasized the fact that he could rub the palm of his hand against the spectator's without the coin being felt. The coins would then appear on the spectator's hand even though he (more usually she) had just confirmed that there was no coin there. Timing was critical to this. The coin was actually dropped after it was supposed to have appeared.
Gary Kurtz also published some interesting work on this. His approach was to hold the spectator's wrist. He used the natural choreography of the rest of the effect to get his hand over the spectator's palm momentarily, release the coin, and then back out of the way. The impression the spectator got was that the coin had just appeared on her hand, without any cover at all.

It's called the Stealth Dump. Briefly, although much is in the details, you hold the shelled coin as stated in the quote above, and the 1st 3 coins that have already travelled on your open palm below it. You simply dump the 3 coins into your other hand and release the shelled coin to join the 3 in transit (shell stays in place). Handing these 3, now 4, coins to the spectator to hold in a closed fist, you vanish the shell a-la favorite method. Again, this is a brief description and much more is in the subtle actions, details and patter, but you get the idea. I was actually at a softball game with Chad Long, sitting in the bleachers, when I came up with it in 1992. I assure you it whizzes by all and has been a workhorse in my 4 coins across since. |

It was also in Derek Dingle's lecture notes from around that time.

You should see Charlie's move in action. It is fantastic!
This is one of the few things I perform EVERY time I work. This is very different than the Latta technique using HPC. It is done openly and the context "moment" is very different as well. There is no HPC motion and it does not need to be done anywhere near their hand or the table. If you ever have a chance to see Charlie perform it will hurt you. All the best, Kranzo P.S. Hey Charlie.....Ixnae on the ealthstae umpdae. : )

In "The Magic of Michael Ammar" there is a routine called Incredible Coins Across which uses HPH and one rather unusual method of delivering a coin to a spectator's hands. If you have access to the book you should check it out.
