Is the international convention ever held outside of the US?

Macbeth,
Good question. Even in Canada would reflect the International aspect. Always in the states kind of leaves some folks out.

Just wondering why not anywhere else? Is there an FCM America conference like we have an FCM UK conference?

Hi Mac,
There is no "FCM America Conference" that I know of but several "Regional" conferences held around the US. Why is the International held only in the US? That's a good question, though I suspect the answer has to do with logistics since the entire Board of Officers reside in the US - as do most of the FCM's memership. Just a guess. Cheerio, Kerry

Unfortunately we will not be able to make it this year. We are booked July 14th in Texas, so routing would not work.
On a side note our exciting news is that July 14th show is at the largest church in the country. We will be doing our show along with opening act, Bigsby, at Lakewood Church in Houston. This is where Joel Osteen pastors. They bought the old Compaq Center when the Houston Rockets built a new arena. An amazing venue, they seat 16,000 people. For those attending the convention...please post a full report of how it went. Kevin & Kristen

Hi Guys,
I hope to get over their one day. My good friend Pete McCahon, (who sadly went to Heaven too early in my opinion but what do I know always used to rave about the fun and atmosphere that the convention over their had. I haven't made the convention over here for a few years due to work and family stuff and I do miss hanging out with family. Regards, John |

John, Peter will be missed by all of us at FCM for a long time. He was a great guy. No one does Smash and Stab like Peter did it.
I hope to see all there, although there will be a big part missing without Kerry and company there. Joey

Pete McCahon was well loved at FCM. He certainly brought a lot of fun and laughter on the few occasions that I saw him.
I think the International Convention could use a little John Archer. That would be great fun.
