I read somewhere, that some magicians use stiffners in their sleeves to make the proces of sleeving easyer. I have Cloutier's DVD on sleeving, but he doesn't talk about this. Can someone explain this more. What to use? How to place the things in?

Stiffiners are not necessary, but, whatever works for you. I recomend simply the use of a heavier material in the jacket. when doing the action, remember to keep your wrist level in order to maxamize the target area.

(A tip from Rocco) What helps too is to not have any loose liner material that can bunch up and cause you trouble. In many of his jackets he'll cut out the sleeve lining completely.

...a short-sleeved shirt (or rolled shirt sleeves) is also a good idea. Sometimes button cuffs are fine as long as the jacket sleeve is nice and wide. Definitely not French cuffs, though.

I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three. Elayne Boosler

Takeshi Nemoto recommends this in Tokyo Trickery, which is far earlier than Carl Cloutier's video. Ross Bertram apparently never saw the need for it. Jules DeBarros could sleeve while wearing an Eisenhower jacket. He seems to have lost the touch, though, recently.
Quit obsessing and practice!

I just saw Rocco's FISM CONTEST ACT and it is a possible big winner. He is the master.

I always hated the idea of letting your magic dictate your wardrobe. It should be the other way around. Particularly if you're not a working pro. Use as tight of sleeves as you possibly can get away with. The illusion is much stronger that way. With something like dimes or pennies the shirt can literally be hugging your wrists. And if the illusion allows it, sleeve with no sleeves. I talk about both subjects in my upcoming DVD called "Catapult!"
