I also have all three. Depending on my mood, or who I'm performing for, I'll choose one of the three decks. I love "stickman" type tricks. Used to do something called jumping stickman where the drawing kept jumping from one card to the next until "he" found the selected card. Audience loved it. BTW, does anyone remember seeing "Fartoon" advertized in "MAJOKE" I was suprised when I found out it was actually for sale.

I have all 3, these are great depending on the situation. When I perform close-up at colleges or project graduations, I like to use the Fart-toon, it gets a lot of laughs.

All three are good, but I like Fartoon the best. It always gets a good laugh.

The one problem with #1 is that from far away, the drawing looks like someones naked butt. I took me a while to see it but people started telling me.
Despite that, I still like Card-Toon 1 because I could break it down. When I introduce the trick I have the magician tip his hat off to the Audience as if he is saying "Hi". The second time around, after a card is selected, the magician takes his hat off and pulls the card out. Psycologically, you are getting two different animations shows, even though they are seeing the thing twice. You can not do that with the other versions. MR

Card Toon 1 is a great effect because it is simple and gets unbelievable reactions. Though Card Toon 2 has the same workings, I feel that the animation is too complicated and fast for the spectator to grasp.
I would definitely go with Card Toon 1. |

I like the 2nd one better. They are both the same it just depend on which cartoon animation you like best.

The one, and only problem I have with CARDtoon 1 (not Cartoon) is that it is not on bikes. Not that using bikes is a necessity, just that they are what I use, and I prefer for my gaffs and such to be similar.
Also, it is just a quality of the cards thing too, not that the cards used in Cardtoon are poor by any means, if I remember correctly that is, lol. Mind you, considering the nature of the effect, being that the cards are noticeably not ment to be a normal deck, this really isn't such an issue, lol. But it is one of the pluses for 2, as that one uses Bikes, I believe. Mind you, I went so far as to draw my own on Bikes, just so that I could have one on a bike deck, but in the end, I drew the cards a touch too small making it difficult for even a table of people, when strolling in a restaurant, to see them clearly. So in the end I ended up making one on jumbo cards just for the hell of it, lol. Mind you they fit in my inside jacket pocket still, so they worked just fine. Man I had way too much time on my hands in highschool.

I'll say it yet again.
Skip all the versions of Cardtoon, grab a copy of 'Simply Harkey' and learn 'Animator', the original and FAR superior version of this trick. It'll take you 10 minutes to prep the deck, and the deck is shown clean at the beginning and end of the trick.
It's all in the reflexes.

They just don't see it. The other thing I do is I write the word "ANIMATION" with a black marker on the front of the case length wise. This small subtlty makes the audience believe that I drew the whole thing without having to say it. MR
