"so here I would like to have a clip of this done and see what you guys think of the move....."
Hi This section has a lot of great coin men in it I'm not one of them but let me say that,to a novice, Mickey's vid is absolutely blinding Most of the comments are intended for people who have the DVD I wonder if somebody could help a possible buyer of HH I have seen Mickey's vid Could somebody compare it to the HH? Is it better, or not as good as, the 'official' HH DVD? In what ways? PM me if you want I am after the HH but some of the comments I have read elsewhere are putting me off i.e ...practically impossible to learn.....only suitable for people with cetain hands ...impractical Can anybody advise? Thanks TJ |

Me too...I'm ready to buy it, but it seems to not have the raving reviews, as one would expect after looking at the awesome demo....Kranzo, do you use this in your shows?....

For me HH is more practical than Classic Palm. I agree that difficulty of HH is different for each person, it depend on skin type and structure(they give a hand lotion though). My palm produce more sweat than other people (especially when nervous), but when I tried HH I feel more comfortable than doing CP. I have performed coin vanish and production using HH to some people while I rarely perform a routine using CP.
Before I buy the DVD I was afraid of the add saying that this is not for beginner, then I watch the clips from Mickey and figure out the method, I tried it and works in the first trial then I buy the DVD for the applications and variations of HH, I think this is a great method and DVD. This technique can become realy deceptive (even for magician) if used in a routine and not only vanish and reproduction, like the application in chinesse coin with ribbon routine in the DVD. More info: buy it in http://www.themagicwarehouse.com -> cheapest. Thanks, Jeff

My only question is if the HH can be performed with spectators viewing your hands in a standing situation, looking straight down on your hands and the coin(s). Any comment?
I'm not confused... I just don't know yet.

Hello Danny,
The Harada Hold is not meant for the performing conditions you mentioned. I believe there is a similar response to an earlier question you asked in a different thread. HH works best when your spectators are in front of you or you are standing and they are sitting. It's meant for chest level work. Like a lot of other coin sleights, there are always angles to be aware of, to prevent flashing. That being said, it's still a wonderful move,IMHO. Jim |

HH is a great move but it takes work to make it right. Well worth the effort.
