This is an old thread, but I thought I'd put my 2 cents in anyway.
I just bought a set of these silks from Magictricks.com last week. They are really vibrant, I was very pleased. I don't know the exact page, but the main site is http://www.magictricks.com . They are called Circus Cartoon Silks, and come with the Monkey, Strongman, Clown and Ballerina. I used them for a birthday party show last week, and I used the routine that MagicTricks.com suggested on their site. It went over great. I have not seen these silks used by any other magician in my area, so it gives me something different to do in my show. My one suggestion is that you iron them when you return from your show. Don't leave them bunched up in your suitcase. Since they are picture silks, it's really important that they look smooth when you use them so your audience can clearly see the pictures. |

As I understand, the newest batch of "Headless Cartoon Silks" aren't made by Laflin Magic, but were made with his permission. Laflin Magic, David Ginn, Dazzling Magic, and other magic dealers now sell them and they are not in short supply any more.
Things change over the period of 6-1/2 years, from when this thread started. Another example of things changing is the website for Laflin Magic is now: https://www.laflinmagicstore.com/ And that website / mail order business is now run by Duane's son and his wife, and no longer run by Duane's daughter and her husband. - Donald
