The routines I get the best reactions from are:
Colouring Book (based on David Kaye's routine from Seriously Silly) Peanut Butter & Jelly as a look don't see routine Pulling some 'magic' out of every child's ear using D'lites Rabbit puppet in a hat "That's four" What? "That's four" etc |

1)20th century 2)water in newspaper 3)cut and restore rope |

Sponge Balls (beginning with catching "invisible" balls in paper bag gag)
Peanut Butter and Jelly (instead of run rabbit run, or hibbity hop rabbits) Linking rings (whit haydn's routine) |

I have started using Bill Abotts sponge balls from mouth, with great success. Now it will stay in my shows for a long time.
I always use Rocky, and he gets a great response from any type of audience. Instant Magician...my own version has been in my shows for years as a closer. |

That's funny Bill.
I am sure that none of my routines from back then are in my act either. I do absolutely zero silly kids magic at my kids shows. I'm just not suited for that kind of show. Now I do mostly the classics. Entertaining but still, the classics: 1. Rings 2. Egg Bag 3. Cups and Balls

1. Flaming book to read them the rules of the show.
2. Dove pan with ingredients that flash into fire and wallah.... cookies. 3. Disappearing rabbit into burst of flames...then serve up bunny wings. God do kids love fire stuff! Really keeps their attention too. |

Doesn't matter the routine, I always use the following:
+ Sponge shapes. + Eggs. + Silks. It's very difficult to see a magic show without them. |

I hate to say this, but isn't the Magic Coloring Book, as great as it is, overexposed and over available at the magic stores, eBay, etc.?

Here's an updated summary. I had intended to track only to tenth place, but the number of tie rankings this time made that silly.
First place Magic Coloring Book [see also Coloring Book Monte/Three Kid Monte] - 19 Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth place (tie)
Sixth place Sponge Balls (including "mouth" routines) - 9 Seventh place Axtell Magic Drawing Board - 7 Eighth, Nine, Tenth, Eleventh, Twelve, and Thirteenth places (tie)
Gold Honourable Mention
Silver Honourable Mention
