Ron, just tripped across this thread.

Wow - I'm really impressed and appreciative. The advice I've read so far from this eBook is first rate. It's incredible that you've put so much time into dispensing it, and subsequently effort in compiling it, solely to help other magicians. Thanks so much!

It's been almost 2 years since I made this little E-book, and since then I've added quite a few other posts in this section of the Café. So, I'll compile another E-book like this very soon.
Thanks so much for all the kind words. Ron Jaxon |

I had already read a few of your posts while browsing the Café, and I absolutely loved them.
I'd just like to thank you again for your ideas, insights and help. |

I only chanced upon the thread due to Jax's bump for the new E-Book. This is really a top-class compendium of unmeasurable value. I am just so miffed I hadn't seen this before I began my journey in magic.
As such, I PLEAD with the staff to make this a Sticky, lest it fall back into the void of older threads. This is a most generous contribution from an excellent man. Thanks, Jax... Wish you could come to Aussie some day! This is for you, mate -->

What a kind and thoughtful thing to do. You are a very insightful writer. I, for one, am grateful being able to read this in one place without having to search the Café for it. Definitely, this should be a sticky. Thank you, Jaxon. You did a great job.

Thanks, guys.
Well, I got the second one finished. It's just like the first one, but this one contains the posts I've made in this "New to magic" section since that was released. Not quite as long as the first one because this one is of the last 2 years. The first one was about 5 years. Anyway, here it is: http://www.magicjax.com/cafeposts2.pdf I hope someone finds it useful. Let me add my thanks, Ron. I had seen many of the posts in the 2nd e-book just through looking through the boards the last couple of months, and they were all excellent. It's good to have them all in one place to look over again. I don't think I've ever seen any of those in the first though, and there looks like there is TON of great stuff in there that I need to get started reading.

I'm really interested in this (parts 1 and 2), but I have dial-up and was wondering how long it will take to download. Any guesses?

Preston,
The first file is 93.6 KB, and the second is 155 KB. So if you are on a 56k, from what I can look up online your download speed could be anywhere from 6.65 to 32 KB a second. So not long at all, and certainly worth the wait time. |

Gosh darn it, Ron. I haven't applied all the great advice you gave us in your FIRST book yet, and now you've come up with a SECOND one!
Thanks a bunch!

Cool. I'll have a go at it, then. Thanks in advance, Ron.
Edit- Well, that was awesome. Haven't read them yet, but even with dial-up I had them both downloaded and saved in about 3 minutes. Thanks again!
