It's a somewhat humorous routine in his current touring show. A wee bit adult, perhaps even PG-13 material, but still very creative.

He's been doing this effect for years. Even the article that's linked is an old article -- it was linked on this board last year, the year before ... I can't understand why it has a June 06 byline.
Honestly, it's not even that good an effect. Just a very elaborate card trick. Somewhat forgettable, in my opinion. But it's gotten a lot of mileage as a perennial "new" stunt. |

It was on the morning news here yesterday and the
anchors were really funny about it. they kept making mistakes with the entire idea of it. since it didn't make any sense anyway.

Even though this is old (I saw Copperfield do this in Washington DC last year) it still making news. David Letterman joked about it in his opening monologue last week saying that impregnating a woman without touching her has already been done. . . by Michael Jackson.
