Clowns and Jokers, Ellusionist off the top of my head. Also Martini who is known for splitting cards and making his own gaffs. Mark Allen who made the "Versatile Monte" DVD.

If you want to learn to do it yourself, your main resource will be Marty's DVD "The Art of Splitting Cards".

This is a must have in your library if you're interested in gaffing cards.

I wanted to start doing that for a long time.

Profile of Expertmagician is excellent especially if you want cards which can't be made by splitting real cards.

The look, texture and feel of the cards is like a real card.

I just got the CAJ decks into the shop this week, and they are AWESOME!!!! The quality is very good, the cards are all very novel and cool. And shipping was really fast. Great customer service. I'm a big fan now.

Check out CAJ magic.

Just a note on Making Cards - from someone who has learned the hard way

There are 5 ways to make cards

1: Cut up a card and glue it together (which works only with tricks which are not done close-up) or start with a blank card and draw really well

2: Decals - these are still available in some places - hard to find but very helpful

3: Use a computer printer to make them - NOTE: Before you do this get a fine grade sand paper and sand the face of the card to remove the varnish from the factory or the ink will not stick - Dosn't matter it its a lazer or ink jet - Note also after you sand it and print it - the card will wear very fast as it has no surface protection. I have tried to replace the varnish - I don't think it can be done.

Also - you will tend to make black cards as red cards never look good from a computer

Also - it takes about 5 tries to get one card due to twisting/jamming so you need a lot of blank cards

4: Order them made - BEWARE THOUGH - Generally the ordered cards run between 50c and $2 each and there is usually a minimum order of $50 to $100 so...

ALSO - the cards are usually SILK SCREENED - so be aware that there is a reduction in quality

ALSO - Most legitimate card makers know and will not make gaff JOKERS or COURT CARDS as the art is copywritten by US Playing Card Co.

5: The hard way - Have US Playing Card print them - BUT... you have a minimum 10,000 deck order minimum so unless you are selling (like I do with the CAJ Deck) its not very realistic

Hope this helps - I've done all 5 of these - The computer is the easiest but has drawbacks.
