For each theme whether corporate, bday party, anniversary, etc you would have something to accommodate. That's awesome, then you can simply sort out your sets, organize them, and pick up and go to wherever environment you are working. I like it. |

I don't know that changing the cards for corporate, bday etc would be worthwhile as it is a gameshow theme, but maybe. I do like the idea of updating the cards though, and the color difference-with only the lemon being color-great point, I probably would have overlooked.

If one or two of the prizes are 'inside' (customized for the majority of the audience), no reason why this would detract from the game show theme. Plus, it makes you look like you've done your homework, and the piece offers a few more audience punches.

I didn't mean to say it would detract, I don't think it would. I just think it might be overkill I guess

Btw, has anyone experimented yet with producing new images for prizes? I have not purchased this item but am seriously considering it.

I scanned a card back and never got around to finishing the cards with new prizes ... very easy to do. I was going to print 2-sides and laminate for to replace the old cards.

I have a question.
I am thinking of buying and re-working this routine. Yes, I realize that it is a solid routine as it is and will certainly consider going with whats provided, but I have literally seen so many people do this routine and I want to change it for my own style. I have a question, do you have to use lemons.....can you use other fruits instead....perhaps a grapefruit, orange, apple, kiwi etc etc.... Any help is appreciated. Thanks! |

Yes you can but you will need malloy to make a change to the effect before they ship you the effect. I don't know if malloy would make the change but you could ask them they have great customer service. hopes this helps. my 2 cents

If you are going to create your own routine, than this might not be for you, as 95% of the value of what you are buying is Doug's script. This is one of those (sometimes lamented) "ready to perform out of the box" acts. If you have seen this performed many times, than you should know he wrote jokes specific for the lemon.
If you just want to perform a bill to lemon(fruit) effect and create your own presentation, might I suggest Mark Wilson's complete course in magic. I personally perform a bill to orange using my own script. I think making your own routine is the best way to go if you have the creative ability to do so. |
