Thanks Harry! I just refered to Les Paul in another thread not 1 hour ago. I forgot about his B-day today. But I posted this last year on his B-Day.
The "Wizard of Waukesha" Les Paul turns 90 years old today. Les is known for inventing the solid body electric guitar and also introduced multi-track recording, sound-on-sound, overdubbing and reverb effects. His work greatly accelerated the advancement of studio recording. He is still playing regularly and has two books and two CD's that will be released in the upcoming months. A true innovator and the creator of one of the most important musical instruments of all time. When I visit my local magic shop I drive down Les Paul Parkway. I salute you on your Birthday Mr. Paul!! I have both of his duet albums he recorded with Chet Atkins, (Guitar Monsters, and does anybody remember the name of the second one? Was it Chester and Lester?) and I wanna tell you, that is the most butt kickin guitar playin' I have ever heard! Together those two could JAM the %$%# out of those guitars!!!!!
The difficult must become easy, the easy beautiful and the beautiful magical.
