Hey guys,
I was at guitar center today, and I was looking around at stands and that kind of thing, and I came across this: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=gu......d=455007 It's a multi-guitar stand that folds down flat in a case. I was looking at it, and it would be very easy to make a table-top attachment that you could put on the top instead of the padded parts that come out for the guitars. You also could put advertisement on the front while it was open. I haven't checked how much it weighed, but I just thought you guys might like the idea, so I thought I'd show you/ Thanks, Evan |

I don't see how that would be sturdy with a table top. That looks more like the guitars rest insdie the case and the top part just supports the small end of the guitar... putting a table top on top of that base may change the center or gravity and may tip.
For a simple table from a music store just buy a trap table... its a simple base on a tripod (like you see at many magic dealers) and is designed to hold cymbols so it has a padded top.... I have seen trap tables about 10.00 to 20.00 cheaper then tripod type tables. |

Keep on looking for something to fit your situation. That case just doesn't look like it fits the bill.

Hey, if anyone needs any help on making a table let me know. I have been building magic tables for many magicians for the last 8 years and I have made everything from stage/roll on tables, to compact briefcase tables for close-up. I have my own fully equipped shop and I love building small magic illusions, props and tables. Right now I'm working on a new version of the Doves to Rabbit... I call it "Doves to Rabbit ala Orient"...lol Anyway, if you have any questions let me know, I'm always willing to help.
