Seeker, I like that idea. We have been working on something like that but with a bad guy instead of ref. The big problem we have so far is getting makeup off that fast. A mask wouldn't work. We are leaning toward actual switches with everything.
Anyone know how to take the make up off completely that fast? Curt |

It could be very hard removing make up completely while in a bag. But, a towel soaked in baby oil might be worth a try.
Years back when I owned a magic/costume shop, we had some plastic transparent masks that could be painted. Not the overhead type masks, but they did cover the front of the face well. That would be instant off. I’m sure they are still being made today. Check out some of the costume shops for some ideas with the masks. But, I see no reason why a good coat of peal off Liquid Latex wouldn’t work. It comes in colors as well as clear that could be painted. Tom

FIrst, I am glad you like the idea:
I also agree with Mr. Drake with the Latex Mask. (you can also do a long black wig) Sting can be "out of it" to and the black hair will cover most of his face. Then the latex mask can be pealed right off. I would love to see a clip of this after its done. -Seeker
I've been training these cards since they were small.

I would definately have to play with the latex idea. Again it must be flawless on and off camera. But with movement and cameras not to close it might work. Does anyone know if an audience of 3-5 feet away would be able to tell if it was a latex mask?
UPDATE--Sting called today to say they had the board meeting Monday and they liked the idea but would have to look it over. He is going to call them Monday but it could take up to 2 weeks. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again guys! Curt |

He does wear the face painting still. Thanks, I may check into their makeup people if it gets that far to see if they are comfortable doing the latex mask thing.A nice option to have.
