What do you mean... "one number missing".
Which number? I could customize a white one or a black casino die one if you wish.

For example no number 3 on the dice and replace it with a number 4 (the opposite one).
So the dice will have the following numbers: 1,2,4,4,5,6. |

Hmmm... thought Grand Illusions' Non-Transitive dice might help you out, but it's a set of three dice with the following combinations, so I think not: 1,4,4,4,4,4; 3,3,3,3,3,6; and 2,2,2,5,5,5. Here's the URL if you're interested: http://www.grand-illusions.com/toyshop/ntdice2/

They're called double number dice - very effective in crap games. Available from your local crooked gambling supply house. They are pretty much a custom item.

There is a set of misnumbered dice in an effect called Charlie Miller's Dice Routine. I can't remember what the number combinations are, but you may want to check it out.

Tops and Bottoms are what they are called. Try to contact T.R. King in Los Angeles, they have almost every kind of dice you could want. There used to be an ad in the Linking Ring magazine for an east coast maker too.

Tops and Bottoms Dice seem to be a good and cheap solution.
I will lot at the others suggestions. In addition, I found a Chinese Dice Box where you can roll any number you want. Also, at Casino Supply web page I found good stuff. I want to thank all of you for help me to find a solution. Regards! |

If you're just using normal dice with recessed spots, just get a 1/16" drill bit and duplicate one of the other sides (eg, 1 becomes 5, 2 becomes 4, etc).
If you are using casino dice, then get an appropriately sized router bit and fill in the spot with Milliput. This is very easy to do at home, so no need to spend the money on a "professional" version. Bye for now Harold

Good idea Harold, I will try to modify an old wooden Dice I have based on your suggestion.
Thanks! |

I found this old post which was the same as another post I had made. The source can be found here:

Actually, "tops and bottoms" refers to a specific numbering pattern that precludes certain totals from being rolled and based on the fact that you can't see more than three sides of a die at the same time. What the OP wants is simply a misspotted die.

I just purchased from the source listed in my post above and I can highly recommend their product. Cost me about $10.00 for the dice to be delivered from the UK to the US.

I have a similar query:- I would like a two dice set (about 19mm) where one is regular and the other has identical spots on all sides (i.e. all fours, or all threes). Is there any 'ready made', or do I have to buy blanks and try to make my own?

I ordered from. http://www.cards4magic.co.uk/acatalog/Magician_s_Dice.html as well and the service was really fast. I really wanted a larger die, the miss numbered one they sell is 14 mm I really want at least double that, any info much appreciated.

For anyone interested, I was surfing and ran across these dice by Diamond Jim Tyler. They may work for your purpose.
