There's a section on the multiplying candles in Routined Manipulations Book One. It gives I think 3 routines as well as how to prepare the candles, etc. Old book with lots of GREAT magic in it.

The best multiplying candles around right now in my oppinion are the Owen Mulitplying Candles. They are recreations of a design by Lloyd.
There are 2 types of gimmicks to do this effect. One gimmick allows you to simply hold a single candle and they split to two, then three, then four. The Owen version is quite different. It is an actual manipulation sequence where after each multiplication the candles are shown completly on both sides. They are all seperate candles so to speak, and can be shown seperately. You can place them away one by one etc... Find out for sure if the effect IS for you and then invest the $325.00 on the Owen candles. Honestly, they are worth it, every magician I show them to says the same. DJ |

Go to the last post at this page of the Café and see what I had to say when I got my set in November: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=10 |

The George Hammerton (deceased metal worker) nesting candles are awesome. They were marketed by Harry Stanley, in England. He also made sets of multiplying cigarette lighters.
