OK...here's the challenge. See what you might come up with.

You're traveling out of town. You get to your destination. The opportunity arises to do a magic show. All of a sudden you realize you left all of your magic at home and you really want to do a fun show.

There's a Dollar Store down the street and you have $20 to spare. What would you get and be able to do with it?

What the frag are you doing out in the real world without some of your magic props in the first place...would/could this truly happen???

I wonder?

There is loads of magic to be had at a Dollar Store and that doesn't include all the cheesy plastic slum magic they sell!

We were travelling to do a theater show and the theater had switched to movies and NAILED the screen down to the stage... so there was NO ROOM to get on stage.

With the Targell Course in our memory banks, we went to Main Street into a General Store and bought things like rope, rings, etc. and did the full evening show IN THE AISLES.

OK, Johnny. Please re-read the question.

In the heat of preparing to travel, you finally get where you're going and REALIZE you left your magic stuff at home. Oooops... Someone finds out your a magician and offers you the chance to do a show.

Now...what would you do? You have $20 and a Dollar Store down the street. Can you pull it off? If so, how?

I would hope they had a half-way decent deck of cards!

BTW: Max Maven has answered this question in an upcoming release. Eugene Burger posted about it back in December ( http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......86&4 ).

Plastic Easter eggs! They make great pulls and dye tubes. Plus, you can safely keep a real egg inside during transit. There have to be hundreds of tricks that you can do with them including Chinese Egg Bag using a straw place mat from the dollar store. For a buck you get about 20 of the eggs!
