On the video/dvd (Stars of Magic-I think) where Frank Garcia shows his elevator move-what particular set of cups is he using? Thanks.

I believe he uses a set of Paul Fox cups on this video. That's what he used most of his life. He also recommended them in his book.

And Tannens 'Garcia Cups' are garbage, they look interesting but are very lightweight and not satisfying in the hands.

Frank probably never actually used a set of those things.

The garcia cups were a private joke on Frank....they are crap.
He always used Fox cups.

How do you REALLY feel about them, Mobius? Don't hold back, now.

He performed cup moves on both of his tapes. The tape that had a number of great C&B info he was using his silver plated Fox. On the other, I believe the elevator move, they appear to be a copper cup of some sort. But that's all off of memory. He used to carry his Fox cups in a telephoto lens case, that had been slightly modified. We had looked into having some made up as at every lecture people would ask about it, but it seemed to be more trouble than it was worth.

You can get those lens cases at most camera shops. In fact, if there is a shop in your area that carries used camera gear, this is a great source for cup cases.
