Hi:
I'm just curious if anyone performs Charles Gaucci's Eye To Eye. I want to work it into a show, and am curious how those of you that use it ditch the gimmicks while in the middle of a series of other tricks that you're performing in front of people. I've considered just leaving the gimmicks be...but those of you that perform this know that that could...hmmm....make certain things difficult. I don't want anyone giving anything away--and I hope I haven't--so if you could drop me a PM I'd appreciate it. Best, --Jon |

Good question. Claim you're hearing voices and crouch into a paroxysm of pain as you cover your ears.

I leave them in for the whole show (or walk-around set).
Not sure how it "makes certain things difficult" I use this all the time and feel free to PM me with any specific questions. Cheers Ola PS once you are comfortable with the workings of the routine you only need one gimmick. Not both.
You laugh because I'm different. I laugh because you are all the same...

I also use just one gimmick, and I leave it where it is. there is no difference with or without it. but I use a m......c coin instead of the medallion. less suspicious! it`s a 50 cent (euro), special made for eye to eye.

In my upcoming book, LOST IN THOUGHT, I explain my routine with Eye to Eye that I used to open my stage show with... and it comes with Charles Gaucci's blessing.

I've done Eye to Eye many times and I, too, leave the gimmicks where they are. In 99% of the cases, one gimmick would've sufficed. However, once, the spec hid the "marble" in her back pocket. I said, "I'm drawing a blank on this one. I'm not feeling a difference between the vibrations from either hand". She was amazed!

Gaucci offers an alternate gimmic which can be comfortably worn throughout your performance.
Check his website for details. |

Charles has actually offered three different methods -- and I use them all frm time to time....but mostly leave the original method in place for a whole performance. BTW I use Charle's wonderful HALF DOLLARS and a $50 Bill for 100 to one odds patter.

If you prefer a hidden gimmick that can be worn with ease try Child's Play II. You can do the same routines plus much more.
