This is from the newsletter I just sent out...I just copy & pasted it.
Hopefully all you Chicagoland area people will get an opporuntiy see it in person. http://www.nwherald.com/photo/286442199301016.php photo credit: Brian V. Hello everyone... I hope you all get the opportunity to pick up an actual copy of the Northwest Herald today. The Lifestyles section has the front page article about our family suviving stroke. You can read it online, but you won't see the other two photos that appear in the article itself. The excellent article was written by Geneva White. She did such a great job with so much information to take in. We are very pleased. I hope you all get the chance to see I think it will make you feel good As it made us feel good. One month from today dad will be 8 years post stroke. This article is fitting as it really shows how he's progressed and even tho time has passed. When I first got the paper in hand and realizing it, it made happy and sad because, well, it does. I'll write more about it in my jouranl and even make a voice post for you all to listen to night. I hope I see you all soon somewhere...on the street, in a bookstore, coffee shop, at a show or just here online.... Also check out the Soupy Gato Show where DJ Daniel plays some of my tunes from the new record 'chronology.' I haven't heard it yet, since dialup is a witch! I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable holiday. Excellent article! Thanks for posting. The stroke is sad, but thankfully your father survived. You've had the last 8 years, and many more I hope.
