Just to say - this IS a great packet trick. No question. Twister Sisters has always been a favourite of mine, and as such there are obvious similarities.
However the fact that this can be done in a strolling walkabout situation, means that I will be using this a lot. In fact I will put in my wallet for all occasions. Forget waiting for the video demo. What are you expecting to see. It actually does exactly what it says it does in the blurb (which makes a nice change doesn't it), so if you like what you read you will like what you see. It is also very easy. Possibly too easy - after all - we don't want every Tom Dick and Harry doing it do we? There is actually nothing I can say against this effect. The more I do it the better I like it. And as for ordering from the US (from England), it arrived in about 4 days. |

This is one of the best packet tricks I have ever purchased, a real gem. I got mine from Top Secret Magic in the UK, arrived the next day, great service.

Does anyone know if the New York retailers (Tannen's, Fantasma) will have this?

I like this effect, but does anyone really think it is an improvement over B'Wave?
No equivoque, I know, but you still use gimmicked cards. |

B'Wave is a very strong effect and plays well.
Entourage, however, is really two effects - the spectator not only "finds" his selection, it turns out that he was "guided" in the first place, into selecting the only queen that was present. It's a presentational angle that Gordon doesn't really play up all that much in the instructions but I think it bears emphasizing to the audience at the trick's conclusion. |

Guys, I PMed Gordon about what I thought the hidden secret was, and I was right. PM him or me what you think it is and I shall let you know if you are right or not. Also, try this, instead of getting them to name a queen at the start, get them to THINK of a queen at the start, and get them to name it at the end after they have eliminated the other three cards. It becomes even more impossible, as then there is absolutely no chance in the spectators mind you could have switched etc or any funny business!

Great idea! That does dispel any ideas of a switch taking place!

Have major problems with text reading Instructions.
A video just showing the performance would be great for me.. Thanks, Don |

Christopher, what a great idea having them name the card after they've gone through the discarding process. I'll try that tonight.
I still haven't found the hidden secret though. Frustrating. |

No video necessary. This is about as easy to learn as they come and (for once) the description is accurate. It looks exactly as it reads.

This effect is a killer in my opinion.. I've had great reactions. I love the simplicity of handling and the fairness of the selection process. Run, don't walk, to get this one! kudos Gordon!

Oh for crying out loud....I know this will come off as condescending, but Gordon will get the video up when he gets it up. He is quite a busy man.
But seriously...if you have the effect in hand, and can't figure it out with 21 pictures for illustrations, you may want to reevaluate your ability to learn from text. This was so extremely simple to learn....spread 6 cards and a turnover move. That's it. 15% of the posts on this thread are not a review but a complaint about the video. It will be up. |
