Well, here's the latest deck...just thought some would like to know...I know some will hate 'em and some will love 'em, and some will just want to add them to the card drawer collection (like me). They appear to be similar to regular bikes with just the different colored backs, as opposed to the recent "The Yellow/Red/Black Decks" that have been released. I've seen the orange decks for $5.95 at these 2 places, but after shipping, it works out to about $9/deck (a little too much for me right now for a deck of new cards)...
elmagicshop.com tricks4sale.com Anyone seen them anywhere else yet? Perhaps they just have not been out long enough. :) Kaylan |

Stanyon...it will never end...I think the next color variation for Rider backs will be purple. That's my prediction. ;-) Kaylan

Well, I just ordered three orange decks from tricks4sale. Why 3? I like to work with one whole deck, use one to break up for color changes, packet tricks, etc., and keep one wrapped for 'backup'.
With shipping, they totaled $8 a deck. I've resolved to not buy any more Bicycle variants unless they have standard faces, like these. So I'd buy purple ones, but not if they have purple faces. Oh, yeah, I've already got a Bicycle deck like that. Joseph - Color stripes! Cool. It would be fun to have one with a 'rainbow' back where the colors match the colors of Bike backs that have come out on standard-face decks. So far, I think that's: blue, red, black (standard & military), green (standard & dark military), and orange. (Did I miss any?) I'd like to see yellow with standard faces, instead of that puke-yellow reverse-color yellow deck. And purple with standard backs would be nice, too.

One time in my life when I wish I was older. Years ago, before any of the Target Bikes, special Ellusionist decks, etc were out, I wanted to put in a custom order with USPCC for new colors. Standard faces, and then either orange or purple backs.
Now it seems I've been beaten to the punch. Oh well, I suppose it's good that I can get these, and not have to put up the cash for an entire custom run. Also, I suppose it's not such a groundbreaking idea that someone else wouldn't have had it. Kevin

I picked up a deck of the clear cards this evening ... these are so cool. Time to pull out the Encyclopedia of Card Tricks and find just the right trick for these!

I'm getting a little tired of the standard Rider back design. League backs or Tally Ho Circle backs seem much more appealing to me.
Though I did have an idea that I shared with Daniel Garcia a couple of weeks ago about a modified Rider back design. We'll see what happens. // |

LOL Kaylan, I forgot about the green Elephants. That's THREE different shades of green Bicycles.
Joseph, the Light Blue and Pink decks don't have standard faces. They have reverse faces. The Purple and Yellow decks also have reverse faces.

Think of the political correctness though...
Be a Good magician Who cares about the trick - IS IT DONE WITH A RAINBOW DECK SHOWING YOUR SUPPORT FOR GAY MARRAGE or a Yellow Deck SHOWING YOU SUPPORT THE TROOPS or a RED WHITE AND BLUE DECK???

Orange sounds like a good idea for cards, but it really isn't my colour, I think I'm going to stick to my good old green backed cards

The fashion cards are a complete waste of time. The faces make it difficult to use them for playing card games, and the all over color makes them difficult to use for tricks.
I'm with airship on this, unless the cards have regular faces I'm not interested in any more variations of Bicycles. One slight exception, I found two packs of Ghosts in my mailbox two days ago. My wife ordered them for me and didn't tell me. And they are very very nice. Similar enough to the regular bikes to be useful, but different enough to be interesting. -Richard |

Just to clarify, magicmarker, the new orange backed Bikes are not fashion cards. They're regular 808 poker decks with orange backs.

I'm a serious collector, so anything new is worthwhile to me.
Going back to the orange deck...., I had an effect in mind loooong before the orange deck came out. Actually log before enen the black deck came out, It involves the classic signed card in lemon/orange. I have a card selected and signed. Returned to the deck (reg bikes, red or blue). This is given to the spectator to shuffle. I then produce an orang fruit. I cut it in half and find a rolled up card. I open it and reveal a blank card. Dismayed, I roll up the card and reassemble the orange. I cup both hands and the orange changes into an orange deck. I hand this out to the spectator. He opens the box and finds an orange back deck with one face up card. The signed card still with a red back. In short this deck made my dream routine possible. I will be filming this in a week or so for a new DVD. I hope you guys find something interesting with these colored bikes as well. I just wished the faces of these collored back come out white just like the regular bikes. Rannie Raymundo aka The Boss aka The Manila Enforcer
