How many are excited about seeing the new Pirates movie coming out tomorrow?

I got my tickets last night for a late show at one of the assigned seating theaters here in LA. No waiting in long lines here and I am very anxious to be there and watch this one, can't wait!

You can bet I will be looking for that toe necklace too (and thinking about my Dark Museum, ETMP that's on order).

I will post my take and comments on the movie sometime Saturday.

I wish we had assigned seat theaters here in NC!

Ah well, got my tickets about 5 days ago for the midnight screening locally here, so in just over 12 hours, I should be basking in some pirate glory. Looking forward to it!

Just came in from seeing it (Midnight show). Be sure to stay until after the credits for a bonus scene.

Overall this was a very fun movie. I can't say I quite liked it as much as the first, but there's certainly plenty of eye candy and thrills to keep busy, and the 2.5ish hours went by pretty quickly.

This delivers pretty much what we want and expect from sequels nowadays, the same movie, but different.

Ultimately it's a good followup to the first film, and we get left hanging enough that we're gonna be forced to go see number 3!

JD was excellent as always. They should just call it "The Adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow"

They gave it a scathing review on cnn - they called it "A Bermuda Triangle of Bad"

I am sure I will see it, though. I am looking forward to the next film, which will feature Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richard (knock wood) as Johnny Depp's father! Johnny Depp always said he fashioned the character he was portraying after Keith Richard, so it should be fun.

I just saw Pirates 2. Unfortunatley, my family had to leave due to a work emergency on my stepmother's part Smile Could someone PM me info on the scene after the credits?
Much appreciated,
Evan

P.S- What were your favorite parts? Mine was the whole thing with Jack Sparrow and the natives. Pretty funny "language" they had.

Saw the movie late last night and really liked it a lot. I don't have anything negative to say about it at all and I thoroughly enjoyed the characters (wow, so many characters), the scenery and everything.
I was a little worried because of all the not so positive reviews I have been hearing and reading but regardless I thought it was a very entertaining movie and a good sequel.

Pirates II set an opening day box office record with 55.5 million dollars:

It's amazing (to me) how so many people insist on seeing these movies on opening night.
