I still use my Hawaain shirt over t-shirt with dress slacks look for kids shows but I would like to find some good colourful vests for the more dressy occassions.

Depends on what you're looking for, Neale. If you're interested in bright colored novelty vests I prefer http://www.tuxedosonline.com and http://www.tuxedosdirect.com.

If you want a custom vest made with your cloth and to your specifications, check out http://www.noveltyneckties.com. They've made two custom vests with a couple of extra pockets for me that are great!

If you're looking for something of a more historic or period look (my preference) I always use either http://www.riverjunction.com or http://www.wwmerc.com. All three suppliers have always been reliable, helpful and top quality.

Ahhh, but, Al ... not every one can look as good as you in an orchid thong & tails, dude!

When I said exotic I was refering to the color. Skip please my wife says I look like a gorilla naked, she covers her eyes, or turns out the lights before I undress.

Daytona Magic makes great vests. You can specify the fabric from a range of options. These vests are around $75 and work great. Their web address is:

I had no idea Daytona Magic would make a vest with custom material! Very good to know. I like Daytona Magic. They always ship items fast!
Wonder is very necessary in life. When we're little kids, we're filled with wonder for the world - it's fascinating and miraculous. A lot of people lose that. They become cynical and jaded, especially in modern day society. Magic renews that wonder.

Amazon.com has some brightly colored vests, for very good prices.

I would second EBay, they often have some great deals. As well as check out the Burlington Coat Factory, they have some great items if you’re on a budget.
