Take a small sheet of paper and make two cuts as shown the following picture.
 Those cuts have made three prongs on the sheet. Hold the right prong with your right hand (top corner). and hold the left prong with your left hand (top left corner). PULL YOUR HANDS APART. What happnes ?? The paper will always tear in two pieces. The problem is to make the paper tear in THREEE pieces. HOW ?? |
