How big of a cage would you need for one dove?
I don't want the cage to be to small because the dove needs to jump around a little and I don't think I need a super large cage for one dove. I found a nice cage for $118 and it looks like a nice size for a dove.

The main thing you need to ensure is that the dove can comfortably flap it's wings inside the cage. Height isn't a big issue, width is the main thing. Generally if it's around 20 inches or more wide your dove will be fine. Just remember, the bigger the better.

A dove that has a good place to perch will keep prettier feathers than one that stays on the bottom of the cage. However, height isn't a big deal. Most of my cages are 18" wide, 18" high and 24" deep.
