You can get the plans out of the Jack Hughes books... Not sure what volume?

This has been discussed previously, please try a search. Basically, you need an Appearing Cane, a motor from an automatic car radio antennia. Some battery holders and that is it, except that for the snake body go to the fabric store and the head buy some leggs stockings at the grocery store.

Does the plans from the book contain the same routining as the ones from Wolf's Magic? I thought it's more mechanical than electronic in nature.
I build puppets and would like to adapt a snake basket routine in my act.

Why limit yourself to what others have done? Come up with your own routine.

Hi Chance,I've emailed you.
Thanks for all the valuable inputs.
Bill, you are right.I am looking at the mechanics and looking at how to create my own routine with a caterpillar in a pumpkin.

Never criticize someone else until you have walked a mile in their shoes. Then, when you do criticize them, you will be a mile away from them and you will have their shoes.

I bought one on ebay as an appearing snake. I paid $75 (I did not know what I was buying) for it, but you can get one from a junk yard for much cheaper.
