Do you hire somebody to do video editing or do you do it yourself. Also what's been your biggest project?

Well, I'll say that I do it myself, but I'm sort of biased... I run a video production studio specializing in promo videos and VFX (special effects graphics). So they hire me.

I'm with you Scott. I produce videos and theatrical productions so I know what looks good. I don't really have time right now to make a 'perfect' promo video for myself, but if I had time, I would. I would say, if you don't know much about editing and producing videos, get someone else to do it. Even if you know how to cut and put the video together, doesn't mean you are creative or have enough skills to make it look professional.

I also own a production company. We do all our video editing in house. I find clients like the fact that they only have one company to deal with and it makes the work flow much easier to control. We have hired outside companies to do VFX and titles that were beyond our capabilities.
