I remember to have seen the world champion manipulator Topas doing his routine, where from the aparently empty hand produced 5 thimbles.
It is indeed amazing. I would lke to know here can I learn this particular move. Many Thanks |

There is many places to learn such moves. Also, there is gimmicked thimbles to help you produce thimbs empty handed. I would look into McBride tapes or any other book/ video about thimble manipulation.
Hope this helps Last thought do a quick search on yahoo.com about thimble manipulation. |

I always liked thimbles, which come to think of it, is sort of in limbo. Is anyone featuring this effect? This is a great item to practice while watching tv, etc. Check below for what appears to be some good thimbles, along with their video. Anyone know the best thimbles to get, or the real good routines? http://www.hottrix.com/html/Automatic%20Thimbles.shtml

One source of gimmicked thimbles is Vernet. Ask your magic dealer.
Mogar, of color changing knife fame, has recently published some good material on thimble manipulation. Geoff Buckingham is another who wrote up some good thimble moves. Basic thimble stuff is to be found in Tarbell. Sid

I suggest using Nimble Thimbles or Vernet Thimbles. I do recommend the hottrix video on thimbles, but I do not recommend their thimbles. The video is great and you could use what you learn with Nimble Thimbles or Vernet. But the quality of Hottrix thimbles are not so good for the price they charge. You only get 4 thimbles. With Nimble Thimbles you get 14 and with Vernet I think you get 12. Much more for the price. Check out http://www.bigskyillusions.com under general magic. And see the video section for some thimble stuff.

I use the Jeff Scanlan wooden thimbles, as well as the plastic vernet thimbles. The Scanlan thimbles are a good deal. You get 8 red ones and 3 of different colors. The lacquer on them makes them quite easy to grip if your hands are slightly moist. Funny story...when I originally ordered the thimbles I thought I was ordering a plastic set because that was awhat was pictured on the website, so when they came I was surprised but pleasantly so, as the scanlan thimbles are normally twice what I paid for them
