Max-

He may physically send it to you, so there may not be a DL button or link.

It's so good that, reading this thread, I've just bouhght it... then realized that I'd already bought it several years ago then forgot it. Shame on me ! Jimmy has been kind enough to refund me a few minutes ago. The good news is that it reminded me of this excellent idea.

The web page stated to watch for a download link at the completion of the purchase (I have seen this work with other web sites like Docc Hilford. I am still awaiting a response on my purchase and I just sent another email.

Hi, I'll be honest... I'm a little shocked by the popularity of this piece. I expected a out of people to complain about it. For what it's worth, I never do it except in lectures and when an impromptu situation arises where I can use their folder, like a corporate event where they've been given a folder at registration.

I still haven't come up with a design duplication that I feel is adequate for my shows. Like I said, only when it's impromptu for my taste.

However, I do feel better that its there, waiting, in my arsenal, than if I didn't have it. Like HBT.

Thanks for all of your support and interest in this,

Don't believe what Dan says. Although honest, he's biased... One of my very few most treasured friends in the art.

Also, on not being able to get the supplies, I actually never do it with my own folders anymore. I only use borrowed folders, when situations arise. A little more difficult with some of them, but, you know me, I like the impromptu feel of certain bits...

Hi everyone, this is an update on the evolution of my experiences with Peekfolio. Frankly, I have almost no experience with using it since I never felt that it fit my style. Boy, was I wrong. I've decided to replace an old favorite magic effect with a design duplication, and, last night, it really killed!

With my current presentation, I'm combining a psychological !@#$e with a backup methods/premise, and it's very powerful, even without the better hit.

This p**k is pure deception, I never even realized how powerful that it was.

Thanks for all of your input and support, I might be the last person arriving to my own party.

Just picked this up and read over it, then went out and got the needed things to give it a try. This seems like something I will use, once I have rehearsed the actions well enough to make it look natural on stage. It's super quick and easy, but care needs to be taken (IMHO) to make the one move look natural. I can't say too much but those who have it will know what I mean.

While I don't think this will replace my current DD method, it is a nice one to know and to have, and I will be making use of it.

I did have some trouble getting the video to play but was able to do so after a little jiggery-pokery.

I'm renaming Peekfolio, changed to P*folio, for obvious reasons. I'm experiencing a renewed excitement for this method, as Greg Arce described as "a tool for everyone's arsenal", may his soul rest in peace.

It went from something that I NEVER did in my own act, to something now that I use in EVERY show, even if it's for kids. It's a highlight that I won't do a show without.

A fellow magician saw me do it in my act in Galveston, using the triple revelation of the psychological for*e, and had no clue how I hit on 3 levels. It doesn't always hit all three, and it doesn't really need to... but, it's a nice added bonus when it does.

Please see jimmyfingers.com/products for the description

Or jimmyfingers.com and go to the pulldown "Magic Shop" category.

Currently, I'm just doing it with regular blue and red paper pocket folders from Walmart. Nothing fancy. The way that it should be.

This will knock the charge out of your electronic impression devices. And it might save you when you get crossed signals.

If I'm strolling, the children will follow me around wanting me to duplicate THEIR drawing. They treasure those two pieces of paper!

One of the ONLY mentalism effects that impact children. And makes the adults feel wonder like they're young again!

I am considering doing an online workshop on this piece, if anyone is interested. I'm guessing Zoom would be good.

Payments options are provided at jimmyfingers.com/payments

I no longer accept PayPal for US/domestic purchases

Thanks for your interest!

Nice bump of this thread. According to my own post in this thread I purchased this in 2013! I honestly forgot about and I never used it. Thanks for the reminder!
The online workshop also is a good idea.

@Tom Jorgenson I read that you have extra ideas on this. Would you mind sharing them with me as well?
