If they are indeed Fantasio's lecture at the Magic Castle, then buy them for sure. I have the videos and they are worth their money and then some. They are simply wonderful tools in your magic library and I refer to them a lot.

YES, YES and again a big YES. If you own any candles or anything from Fantasio, then these videos and/or DVDs are worth the price and then some. They are simply some of the best information out there on the subject that you can find.

A good DVD or book can be worth so much to any magician because the DVD or book is a wealth of information just waiting for you to look at and apply to your own magic. If learning new magic and building stronger acts and routines is something you are after, then these DVD's or videos are a great investment and then some.

I will need to look into the DVDs. The tape is long and it is sometimes takes awhile to get to the area of interest. These are definitely worth the money.

The Fantasio DVD's are a good investment! I second what magic4u02 mentioned. Like what Jim said, the original tape is quite long. With these DVD's however, you can jump from any chapter you choose. But then again, I might be wrong. I still have to view the DVD's.

Have a look at Lance Burton's candle routine but don't copy it as it is HIS. You can get a good demonstration on youtube.com. Again, it's his so you'll need to develop your own.

Do any of you know what candle routine he does as of late? I've seen his FISM award winning dove and candle routine but also came across another with candles only.

Personally I like Michael P. Lair's version involving the disappearing candle where you can hold it in the middle. It has a little something extra so that when the vanish is made there is no way to drop the candle once it has vanished. See his website:

I don't know his latest work. The tips are relative to appearing lit candle, holding vanishing candle open and candle production with silk tie.
