What size person can be "stored" in Instant Babe? Do they make these for normal-sized wives and assistants, or just for size-0 dancers?

I've recently purchased one and am legally bound not to discuss methods so I won't go into great detail. I will tell you however that normal sized wives can work with this illusion just fine.
If you have any further questions regards the workings of this " neato" illusion please contact Dan Summers at daniel@danielsummers.com Best, Tim |

Thanks Chris,
I gotta tell you I'm looking forward to performing it. Its a very professionally made prop. ( so much more to the workings than you'd think ) I've got a new twist on the cloth presentation that I'm interested in trying. Best, Tim |

What are "normal sized" wives?.......My wife is 5"7 and 130lbs. Would this be ok for her size?
Take care, Bryan |

Is Instant Babe what Criss Angel did in his metamorphosis episode to make that girl appear behind the tablecloth. I liked how you could see under the tablecloth.

By normal, I just mean those wives and assistants who have had several children and might not be the pencil-thin runway model types. In other words, most of them. Anywhere from 5'-3" to 5'-8" and 130 to 150 pounds or more. The kind you might not want to lift off the platform with one arm like they do on World's Greatest Magic.

Yes.. these sized women are fine.
Not sure what Chris Angel did as I don't watch the show. I suspect he did his effect like most of his others. Best, Tim |

I agree with both of you Tim and Star, Chris really is a good, to be honest even very good when you have to perform camera tricks

( I watched the first and that was enough for me ) I have better things to do with my Wednesdays than watch camera tricks. Best, Tim |

The only reason I am asking if Instant Babe is what Criss used is because if you have watched any of the latest shows, he is actually doing real stuff availbe on the market. Also, he hasn't been using stooges that often.
He borrowed a Tablecloth somebody had made him from the audience (Stooge?). And waved it in front of him. The tablecloth was so short, you could see his feet when he brought it up. When he brought the tablecloth down, a girl was standing in front of him. It looked very similar to Instant Babe. |

Stooges brought the clothe. LOL I admire what he has done for the art of magic, but in a way I feel like its cheating. But then again I do stage shows...if I got a TV special I would use camera tricks also????? NOPE!!! Can have Mr. Tim Drake look down on me! I am still working on the 8 audience vanish!! Thanx Tim!

Instant Babe is a "legitimate" prop for a great illusion. Lots of time and resources were spent to bring it aive. As usual what Criss Angel did was the complete opposite to that. AS it was said before, the usual methods were employed.
He has lately done "real" magic, without stooges!!?!?! Come on!!! Don´t be so naive. |
