Hey Gang,
If you live in San Mateo County and get Comcast or Astound Cable watch out for my first half hour TV show: Obscura. It airs on PenTV Comcast 26, Astound 27 beginning on Monday @ 5pm then Wed @ 10:30pm and Sunday@ 10pm (Vimeo and Youtube links to follow for everybody else.) I had little time to write this show, and even less time to film it, no director, almost no crew and it was very Wham Bam! But, for all of that I think the show came out really well! I don't know if there will be a chance to make more but if nice people email the station and say "GIVE US OUR OBSCURA!" then who knows =) Here's crossing fingers.

So here it is. I don't know if I'll get to do more with PenTv. Things are changing over there so here's crossing fingers. But I'll say again, if everybody posts on PenTv's Youtube Channel how BRILLIANT they think the show is and how there should be MORE, then who knows
The show hasn't official aired yet, and the Vimeo video hasn't gone public yet but here is their Youtube Channel. It's in segments Segment #1 http://www.youtube.com/user/PeninsulaTV#p/u/4/Gx2gYy_edDo Segment #2 http://www.youtube.com/user/PeninsulaTV#p/u/3/39qECk9xpog Segment #3 http://www.youtube.com/user/PeninsulaTV#p/u/2/slJAWqPE3yc Segment #4 http://www.youtube.com/user/PeninsulaTV#p/u/1/rzSNHXEL1Ro Hope you like! C And a special thank you to illusioneer for letting me use the title of the show.

What a grand afternoon "Magic with the Symphony" was!
Jay Alexander's effervescence is contagious, as his manic magical mayhem unfolds. The SF Sinfonietta's playing was glorious, with a focus on Mozart but Bizet, Weill, and Joplin featured in as well. Super Gigi's high-camp was dry and bold as always. Great to see old friends in the audience along for the ride. I hope Jay can do this again next year! -Walt- |

Check out the April issue of Magic Magazine! http://www.magicmagazine.com/april10/apr10contents.html Scroll down for a quick preview. Magic Magazine has been great for giving some attention to Bay Area magicians the past year.

Have I mentioned that Christian will be attending the Odd Gathering, showing his stuff and sharing his wisdom?
What better way to spend the first weekend in May than out in Livermore with a midnight movie of Wickerman, and hanging with Christian, and Doug Higley..... Only $75 for the weekend, still have some space, see the venues button at the website in the signature line for more info and to contact me. Kay

Looking forward to the swap meat, I'm bringing some pork chops & hope to swap them out for some nice steaks.
I hope to get rid of some stuff & free up some space, the big temptation of course is to not buy more than I sell. Mike |
