I resently thought up a trick, and I wanted to check and see if their is anything else like it. Its a mentalism effect using poker chips. I was wondering if people who know any poker chip mentalism effects could just post them so I can check and see if its similar. thanks for the help guys. I just don't want to go into to much detail about it because if it is my own I don't want it to get stolen.

There is someone on Penguin now who is claiming to have a poker chip mentalism trick ready to sell. Is this you?

Okay, just checking in case someone else was about to release something similar.

If I'm recalling correctly, Lee Becker has an effect involving poker chips called "Casino Royale." I think it's on one of his videos and also maybe in the book "Stunners."

There is a product called ESP Chips. I believe it was reveiwed here by Tom Lauten at some point. They are very nice, and I use them as part of my close up mentalism act.

Robert Neale, in his book, "Tricks of the Imagination", has a routine called "My First Trick" that involves poker chips. Each chip is associated with a rock, a pair of scissors or a balled up piece of paper. As the chips and the rock/scissors/paper are mixed, you still can know which color beats which without seeing the layout.

How about Free Will? It uses three chips and a prediction.

I have seen an effect performed by Ron Frost using numbered poker chips, and he correctly guesses the total value.
