I'd really like to work on perfecting my one-handed DL. I have written descriptions but I still feel like I'm missing some subtlety. Can anyone direct me to a good video resource on this?

Rene Lavand is the master (by necessity?). He can also do a one-handed faro!

Also check out Lee Asher's Diving board double. That is the one that I use most of the time.

Thanks Spydur. This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm very pleased with Asher's technique. Now I need to practice.

This past monday I just came out with a one handed ML, I do not read that many books, so I do not know if someone else is doing it out there, it is similar to the one from Rene Lavand, but the pinky is not involved and I don't thumb count as he does, I wish I could put it on the web for you guys to check it out, but I do not know that much about PC; I am really very excited about this one handed ML,because it has sooo many applications and I find a new one like every 5 minutes,LOL.
Hey Gfcal, I know that does not help you, but I just wanted to mention it since I saw the related post. Peace out there. Mano. P.S.Hi Spydur, Lee's DL is not really a one handed DL,because he uses his left hand to turn and show the card. |

"P.S.Hi Spydur, Lee's DL is not really a one handed DL,because he uses his left hand to turn and show the card."
Oh my goodness...I suppose that you are correct. I imagine that if you were to use Lee's DL and then do a sort of Flippant move it could be done with one hand. Also if you were to do the acrobatic version of the Diving Board Double it would constitute a one-handed DL. I guess that my thinking was in the right direction though. "Thanks Spydur. This is exactly what I was looking for." I cant wait for a "NO HANDS" DL. Have a great night everyone!!! |

Good morning Corey,
LOL, I cant wait for a "NO HANDS" DL. That would be the ideal one. I agree with the acrobatic version. be well and have a good day. Mano. |
