The nice thing about Tim's box is that it is NOT made from exotic woods -- in other words, it doesn't look like a magic prop. (I introduce it as a toy I bought in an open-air marketplace in India.)
The electronics work flawlessly. Cheers, Jerry |

Wait a minute, my cubes are 1.75 inches square and the cube that Dmann is talking about is 4 inches square. My cube is hidden in a wooden box and Dmann's cube is placed in a bag or covered with a cloth.
My cube is very simular to the Anverdi Die. Tim |

I have the 2 Inch Die from Jam Magic (Its not advertised on his site you need to talk to dave mitchel) Its made of cocabola woods and is beautiful. I even went to a Hobby Lobby and bought a nice antique looking ornate box for $10.00. The entire trick fits nicely into a gorgeous velvet bag that will hold the entire effect and the bag may even be used durring the trick, to make the whole thing even more impossible.

I don't think the maker of Dmann's cube knew anything about my cube as I did not know anything about his.
Lobcomagic also has a die cube effect, there are most likely more die cube effects out there simular to what I released. When I designed my die cube I knew about the Anverdi cube, but had know idea what was inside the Anverdi Die. A few months ago I found a copy of Anverdi's book, wow, what Anverdi was able to do with the electronics of his day was amazing. Tim |

Tim,
Yes, you can do this blindfolded and you can even be put into a closet or even in another room. |

I've just ordered the color cube from Tim. I did this because of his reputation as well as the quality of the product itself. Even if there are similar items I'll stick with Tim because of his reputation.

Let me chime in here. As a retailer of magic products for over 30 years, I just wanted to say what a pleasure it is to do business with someone like Tim. Hocus Pocus was honored to be chosen as the exclusive magic dealer to carry all of Tim's products. He is the epitome of what a good supplier should be: he delivers a top-quality product in a timely fashion, he stands behind what he sells, and he is brutally honest. I wish a lot of our suppliers were like Tim; it would make our job a whole lot easier. Just my two cents, but I thought it was important to share. I personally cannot wait to see what Tim's next new offering will be.
Best regards, Paul Gross Owner Hocus Pocus |

Have you been to his web site and taken a look at the "spirit communicator" gizmo?
Jaw-dropping craftsmanship! I'm not certain as what what it does exactly but it looks like something anyone into bizarre magick would want to consider. |

I just ordered this ornate, wooden die called the Impossible Die Prediction in Cocobola from Jam Magic for $350.00 + shipping and will provide an unbiased review upon receipt. I guess one advantage is that you can perform this with or without a box on a table or in a spectator's hands behind their back.
The Remote Color Cube is considerably more affordable and does not appear ornate in the least looking more like something your grandfather may have constructed in his garage thus making it appear vintage and perhaps the furthest thing from an electronic marvel. They will both have their place in my performing repertoire! |

Just wondered if you received your effect yet, as I am waiting to see your review.

My wife has been watching me do magic for over 30 years (since we got married). She takes pride in thinking she can figure out any effect. We've often seen other magicians perform and she will often figure out an effect before I will. She's great at guessing the ending of movies also.
Anyway, I just received my color cube and after 1/2 hour's practice decided to call my family in to the living room where I would use them as human guinea pigs. First, none of them had a clue. Second, I'll never tell. Third, what a pleasure to do something so simple and yet so powerful. Eventually I plan on working this in to a blindfold routine but until then I can rest comfortably knowing it passed the family test. And believe me when I tell you this is the toughest test possible. I see there is a review of this and other products similar to it.
